About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Join us at the DAR Museum's O'Byrne Gallery for a Crystal Alchemy Singing Bowl and Harp Sound Bath.

In this special sound bath, Mel and Iliana will play crystal singing bowls and harp together, creating a beautiful harmonic soundscapes. Participants will be bathed in sounds that promote deep relaxation of the body and mind. This session will begin with grounding breathwork, intention setting, and light stretching to prepare the physical body to receive healing tones that will allow the body and mind to enter a deep state of relaxation and be rejuvenated.

Mel’s bowl set includes 15 Crystal Tones brand crystal alchemy singing bowls. These bowls are 99.99% pure crystal quartz and are infused with earth elements like salt, charcoal, gold, platinum, palladium, malachite, lapis lazuli, Sedona red rock, diamonds, rose quartz, etc. The pure sounds of crystal alchemy singing bowls resonate with the physical, emotional and energetic bodies, and promote clearing, cleansing, balancing, and healing.

Iliana's harp is a fully strung pedal harp with a mahogany finish. The vibration of the strings travel through her soundboard, which projects a grand, enveloping tone. The harp holds a longstanding tradition in folklore as a magical instrument that can enchant the listener.

Participants should bring a yoga mat to sit or lay on and can bring other items to promote relaxation (e.g., blanket, eye mask to block the light).

Please arrive 15 minutes before this event begins to allow sufficient time to pass through security and to prepare your space. Once the sound bath starts, no admittance will be allowed to the O’Byrne Gallery. No refunds will be offered for late arrivals.
