Come join Zakia and Alanna Tookes, teen co-authors of their first book, Do I Like What I See? a book that helps women and young girls of color embrace their natural hair by following the hair journeys of more than 30 women/young women of color.
This event will be jam packed with 'real talk" about ethnic hair, hair care, hair journeys, history, self-esteem, goal setting, mindset, and more! Attendees will include book contributors, community and industry leaders, Queens and Princesses from all walksof life, and mentors offering wisdom and blessings!
All guests will recive special gifts, and books and products will be available for purchase!
Don't miss this opportunity to share, learn, fellowship, break bread and catch up with these teen sister entrepreneurs and find out what they've been up to since their book release in July 2017.  If you have a book please bring it and take pictures with the authors!
