The beautiful Empress Theatre in Vallejo, CA will be the backdrop for this amazing show featuring a pedigreed band of CAMP JEFF - rockers from Boston, Tower of Power, Big Brother & the Holding Company, Starship, Satriani and MORE. Underdog Animal Rescue, our name pretty much sums us up. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit, volunteer operated nonprofit group dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned dogs from high kill and overcrowded shelters all over the state of California since 2014. We are an all-breed, size and age rescue, meaning we save many of the hardest to place, overbred such as pit bulls and chihuahuas. Our foster-based group lives and operates anywhere from Sacramento to Monterey. We literally give them another chance at life. We have saved over 3000 dogs since starting and we only plan to continue to grow.

When we rescue an animal, we place them in a foster home where they can decompress, learn to be a pet, socialized, spay/neutered, vaccinated, and treated for any medical or behavioral conditions which would otherwise limit their chances of adoption. We then actively network our dogs to find them the perfect forever loving home. Rescue is undoubtedly hard and trying work, but it is entirely worth it to see the life of a dog saved. As a rescue, we believe it is our duty to save the dogs that really need our help; the dogs that need a little TLC, a little medical care, or just someone to believe in them again. Therefore, we save the dogs that are on their last days at the shelter or haven't even been given a chance to be adopted by the public. As much as we love those sweet puppy eyes, we think more of saving their mommy’s and daddy’s that have been shoved to the back of the shelter awaiting their fate.
