Creekside Comedy Night is back with another amazing lineup of comedians. Mr. Sid Davis, and Nashville's Connor Larsen are going to raise the bar even higher at what is already The Best Reason To Go To West Ashley. Sid Davis says, Get ready for Non-Stop Laughter! This former airline worker hilariously unloads side-splitting baggage on stage. Sid’s humor is fueled with A.D.D., a wavering ego and a grade school teacher wife who views him as a child left behind. ​Sid Davis' late in life arrival in the comedy business immediately impressed several A-list comics who loved his writing and mentored him. His first ComedyTime TV spot shot up to the highest ranking spot for over twelve consecutive weeks. In 2012 Sid Davis was voted "Best in Fest" by the audiences at the San Luis Obispo Comedy Festival. In case anyone thought that was a fluke; Sid returned to the SLO fest and fans voted him Best in Fest again in 2013 and AGAIN 2014! In mid 2014, comedy icon Joan Rivers discovered Sid while she was seeking a new opening act. After viewing hundreds of comedy videos; she watched 20 seconds of Sid Davis and declared, “Get him! He's absolutely terrific!” This is a don't miss show, so make reservations for your group today. After you see his one-of-a-kind show, you too will agree with Joan Rivers: “Sid Davis is terrific!" Connor Larsen has been doing standup since 2015 when he moved to Toronto to live on a sailboat and feel bad on stage. He moved to Nashville in January 2017 and since then has almost entirely stopped waking up crying. Connor is a regular at Zanies (Nashville), Laughing Skull (Atlanta) and Stand Up Live (Huntsville). He has also performed at clubs like Comedy Bar (Toronto), Go Bananas (Cincinnati), The Punchline (San Francisco) and Side Splitters (Tampa). He was selected to perform at the 2019 Nashville Comedy Festival, and 2019 Let's Fest Comedy Festival. He also performed on Comedy Central's Roast Battle: On the Road show at Zanies Nashville. He has opened for comedians Dusty Slay, (The Tonight Show) Pat Mcgann (Late Show with Stephen Colbert), Tom Rhodes (NBC, Comedy Central) and Jared Freid (U Up Podcast, Comedy Cellar). JJ Barrows is quickly rising to the comedy scene as a Pawleys Island native relocated to Southern California. As the middle child of a preacher, she shares funny outlooks on her life experiences with a mix of southern charm and quirky California vibes. She performs around the country for all ages and is about to film a Dry Bar Comedy Special in October, followed by competing in the Seattle International Comedy Competition in November. Having discovered her knack for comedy later in life, she describes herself as being “late to the game… but it doesn’t mean I don’t get to play.”
