This event is a collaboration between Credit Builders Alliance, Covenant Community Capital, Wells Fargo, PNC National Center for Entrepreneurship and Texas Southern University School of Public Affairs and United Way of Greater Houston.

What is the main purpose of this event?

Our collaborative goal is to help HBCU students build a healthy financial future by building credit, making saving a habit, and strategically navigating complex student loan decisions.

Is this event soliciting sales?

Accepted Answer

No.  This event provides free credit building products at 0% interest with no application fee or hidden fees.  Complimentary credit reports and one-on-one credit and student loan coaching is provided to all TSU students with active/valid school ID enrolling in the programs offered.

Question 6

I am not an active student at Texas Southern University and want to build my credit. Can I join?

This program is designed for active TSU students only.  Non-TSU students may contact Veralisa@CovenantCapital.org for assistance in building credit through other programs. All services/consultations are free.

Question 7

How long will this credit building program be available?

Accepted Answer

The credit building program for active TSU students with the $250 bonus opportunity will be available until May 15, 2024 for the first 100 students completing enrollment.  First come, first served.

Question 8

Do I have to be a TSU student within the School of Public Affairs or an entrepreneur to attend?

Accepted Answer

No.  This event is intended for all active TSU students.  You are not required to be an entrepreneur.
