Credit 101

This workshop will review what makes up your credit score and ways to improve your overall score to obtain your financial goals.

In this workshop, you will learn a basic understanding of credit and how debt can affect your credit score. You will be given an overview of credit reports and review how APRs can keep you from paying down your debt. This workshop will help you understand:

• What is in a credit report
• How you can obtain a free copy of your credit report
• How your credit score is calculated
• How to fix errors on your credit report
• How you can take action to build/rebuild your credit history
• Common credit score myths
