In this workshop we will spill the tea on tried and tested creativity, ideation and sketching techniques used by companies like IDEO and Google. We will do a series of fun exercises to get the creative juices flowing and build your confidence in your creative process. Then we will dive into making art together! We will be using tea as our primary artistic medium to create one-of-a-kind artwork.
You will walk out of this workshop with a new set of creative tools that you can apply to your personal and professional projects, as well as one or two original pieces of art.
Facilitator:
Maya (Maryam) Tohidi is an artist and creative technologist based in San Francisco. She has15+ years of professional experience as a user experience and innovation expert, helping multidisciplinary teams innovate at companies like Google and Meta. But at heart she is a visual artist. She uses a wide range of artistic mediums and practices (painting, photography, sculpture and mixed-media explorations) to express herself through art, and is passionate about helping others get in touch with their inner artists. She is excited to share some of her creative techniques and make art in this 2.5 hour workshop.
