Creatively Black Baltimore is one of the largest exhibitions celebrating Black artistry in the region, bringing together more than 100 artists and hundreds of works that reflect the depth, history, and creative energy of Baltimore’s arts community.
Presented by The Baltimore Times and curated in collaboration with renowned artist Larry “Poncho” Brown, the exhibition features emerging, mid-career, and established artists whose work spans painting, mixed media, photography, illustration, abstraction, figurative work, cultural storytelling, and contemporary practices.
Featured artists include Larry “Poncho” Brown, Brandon Lamar Jones, Wendell Supreme Shannon, and many other influential voices connected to Baltimore’s creative landscape.
Hosted at the Inner Harbor Light Street Pavilion, Creatively Black Baltimore transforms the gallery experience into a cultural destination where visitors can engage with powerful visual narratives, discover new artists, meet creators, and experience one of the city’s most ambitious celebrations of Black excellence through art.
The exhibition includes artwork available for acquisition, artist events, community programming, talks, demonstrations, and special experiences throughout the run of the show.
