    Calling all teens! Get inspired by local author Rebecca Keith at our special creative writing workshop series for teens at Bronx Library Center.


    Learn about her creative journey and get started on a creative writing piece that you could submit to our Teen Voices Magazine Contest for a chance to be published and win $100!

    Dates:

    • Wednesday, July 24, 4–5:15 PM
    • Saturday, July 27, 4–5:15 PM
    • Saturday, August 3, 4–5:15 PM

    You can attend any of the three workshops as a stand-alone session. Teens who attend all three workshops will receive a special gift and be invited to read their work at our Teen Voices Festival on August 7. Click the "Select Tickets" box to register for the dates you plan to attend!

    All workshops will provide snacks and book giveaways.

    About Rebecca Keith:

    Rebecca Keith's poetry, fiction, essays, and interviews have been featured on WNYC and appeared in Narrative (as a poetry contest finalist), The Rumpus, Best New Poets, and elsewhere. She curated and hosted the MIXER Reading & Music Series on the Lower East Side for 11 years, and sings and plays guitar and keyboards with her bands, The Roulettes and Little Hustle. Born and raised in NYC, she teaches high school English at a public school in Brooklyn, NY.
