Overview
Hone your craft and connect with other writers in this cross-genre class.
This two-hour class will have a different topic each month, each with a different focus. Each topic is a standalone class, so you can sign up for one, more than one, or all. The up-to-date schedule for the following topics can be found on the Factory 3 website:
- Creative Writing: Explore narrative-building techniques that will make your writing pop no matter what genre you’re working in.
- Creative Writing: Story and Plot Structure: Learn the fundamentals of story structure, how to integrate plot with character development, and effective outlining strategies.
- Creative Writing: Fiction from Real Life: Draw from your lived experience and pull inspiration from the world around you to create compelling fiction in this generative workshop.
- Write with Pride: Write in community with LGBTQ+ creators and allies to explore queer writing and tell your story. This class is open to all people interested in queer and trans perspectives, craft, and liberation.
