Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, no. We have three stairs at the entrance hall and the toilets do not meet current standards for wheelchair accessibility.

Question 2

Can I bring my own project? Or what if there is something specific I want to work on?

Accepted Answer

Of course! We welcome and support all kinds of creative outlets, however, they will need to be within reasonable bounds of the facilities we have, for example, our venue cannot accomodate aerosols or art materials that need appropriate ventilation. We also do not have firing equipment etc

Question 3

What can I expect on the day?

Accepted Answer

Sessions will start with a 'check in', where everyone is heard and may wish to share something about their week, we will then discuss group boundaries, providing an opportunity for people to state their boundaries. We will then spend most of the time making and will share our creations at the end.

Question 4

I have no art skills!

Accepted Answer

Thats fine! You do NOT need to be skilled to be creative, this is all about letting go of perfectionism and having FUN, our facilitators will guide you through how to use the materials. As the focus is on wellbeing, and the creative process, the final product is not the goal, the process is!
