Creative Strings Workshop - Columbus, Ohio

Creative Strings is a non-profit cultural organization with a mission to support and transform music education through outreach, summer conference, and online curriculum.

Creative Strings

Immerse yourself in small ensemble coaching, clinics, jams, and concerts spanning world music, jazz, rock, and fiddle styles. Rehearse and perform alongside master artists, with over 20 performances in different venues. 
<H3>Curriculum:</H3>
Creative Musicianship- improvisation, arranging, composition, internalization (modal, harmonic, rhythmic), contemporary styles, and related subjects.
Technical Proficiency- technical skills and traditional concepts will also be addresse 
Ensemble Playing- small and large ensemble coaching and final concert
Students, professional performers and teachers—all welcome.
This curriculum addresses topics related to improvisation, composition, arranging, eclectic styles, and more.
