Overview

Art powers our movements - join 411 Collective for a multimedia, multi-issue creative skillshare and art build supporting frontline DC orgs.

In our movements, well-crafted and well-executed visuals project power, render information and stories accessible, and make the invisible visible. Art is at the core of our interconnected struggles for liberation. Join 411 Collective and friends for a multi-issue art build and skillshare event breaking down a few of the major tools of creative resistance.

  • Wheatpasting & stenciling
  • Poster design
  • Banners
  • Screenprinting (bring your own garment for printing!)

Frontline organizations will be present and have projects you can plug into. Whether you're looking to skill up or try your hand at something for the first time, there's something here for all -- organizers, activists, artists, and cultural workers looking to make a bigger impact. Any skill level welcome. Supplies provided.

RSVP/get your tix and drop in between 2-3:30pm OR 3:30-5pm.

Confirmed Participating/Co-sponsoring Orgs: Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network, DC Local2Global, Poder del Pueblo, and more
