The New Art Corridor

About the ExhibitionExplorations of paint, pastels, ceramics, and more represent one year of creation through a colorful lens in Creative Process. This exhibition is a chance for the New Art Center’s diverse community of artists to come together and connect through their art. The 2019-20 exhibition has created a dynamic range of mediums and themes expressed by our students and faculty across all ages. In this artwork, you will see the artists’ joy and dedication to art-making through times of great adjustment. Explore and contemplate the hanging art and take a tour in our virtual gallery!

About the New Art Center:The New Art Center in Newton (a non-profit corporation), provides opportunities for people to connect with their creativity, community and history through artistic experience. New Art offers classes and educational experiences for all ages about enjoying, making, curating and understanding visual art. We are the only nonprofit, educational venue in Newton solely dedicated to the visual arts. New Art Center programs are made possible, in part, by generous support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. About the New Art Corridor at the Trio, 245 Walnut Street, Newtonville MA 02460The New Art Corridor @ Trio Newton hosts exhibitions, artist talks, art classes, and events for and by New Art Center’s students faculty, staff, and working artists. The New Art Corridor is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is wheelchair accessible.
