Join us for the creative [noun] discussion series event: an in-person, intimate, limited-seating gathering where presence is the point. We'll talk with:
Corey Shultz is a ceramic artist, educator, and founder of Southern Pennsylvania Clay, an inclusive community ceramics studio that recently relocated to Hanover. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from Northern Kentucky University, Corey spent years teaching ceramics while continuing his own graduate studies. Rather than completing an MFA, he chose to devote his energy to building a place where people of all ages and experience levels could learn, create, and become part of a growing creative community. He has worked with clay for more than twenty years and has spent much of that time teaching others to do the same. Southern PA. Clay
Founded in 2022, Southern Pennsylvania Clay has grown from a teaching studio into one of the region's largest ceramics centers, offering classes, memberships, private studios, exhibitions, and retail space in its new Hanover location. At the heart of Corey's work is a simple belief: creativity should be accessible to everyone. His goal extends beyond making ceramic artwork. He is building a place where artists can learn, experiment, teach, and support one another while strengthening the creative community throughout south-central Pennsylvania.
