Creative Lives, Adaptive Practices

E
Enoch Pratt Free Library - Central LibraryBaltimore, MD
Thursday, June 25  •  1 PM - 3 PM
Overview

How does disability shape the way we create? What new possibilities emerge when access is centered in the creative process?

We invite you to join us for this interactive program, which brings together artists and creatives for an open, informal conversation about the realities of navigating creative practice with disability. Panelists will share personal insights, challenges, and the tools and strategies they use to adapt, persist, and thrive in their practice.

After the discussion, participants will be invited to explore several making stations featuring accessible materials, adaptive tools, alternative techniques, and books from our collection that support the work. Whether you’re an artist, a learner, or simply curious, this is an opportunity to experiment, connect, and reimagine what creative practice can look like.
