Creative Camp takes place at the NE STEAM Coalition Makerspace, located at 3935 N Lombard Street, North Portland.

We’re inside the church building — please come around to the back entrance and head down to the basement level. Staff will be there to greet campers and help with drop-off and pick-up.

Are you affiliated with the church?

Accepted Answer

No — the NE STEAM Coalition is not affiliated with the church. The church generously offers space to community partners like us so we can provide youth programs and makerspace activities in the neighborhood. Our camp and programs are run independently by the NE STEAM Coalition.

Question 3

Where should I park ?

Families can use the parking lot behind the church or street parking along Lombard Street for drop-off and pick-up. Please enter through the back of the building and head down to the basement makerspace.

Drop-off is from 9:15–9:30 AM, and pick-up is at 2:00 PM.

How does drop off work?

Drop-off is from 9:15–9:30 AM, and pick-up is at 2:00 PM.
On the first day, parents or guardians should come inside to the makerspace to check in with staff, sign release forms, and confirm pickup arrangements. After that, campers can be signed out at the door if preferred.

Is lunch provided?

Yes — lunch and snacks are provided each day. Food is self-serve, so campers should be able to manage serving themselves and carrying their meal to the table. Staff will be nearby to assist if needed.

Who supervises the campers?

Accepted Answer

Campers are supervised by trained NE STEAM Coalition staff and mentors experienced in teaching and youth engagement. All activities use non-toxic, age-appropriate materials, and adult staff are present at all times during camp hours.
