James 4:8 tells us that if we draw near to God then He will draw near to us. There are many meaningful, creative ways that we can draw near to God. He made each of us in such unique ways and class instructor Debbie Howell believe that He loves it when we bring that creativity into our time with Him. &quot;Our time with God should be full of life and joy and I want to share with you what that time looks like for me,&quot; says Howell. &quot;Together we will learn to journal Scripture in fun ways as we plant them in our hearts. Writing out texts gives us more time to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit behind the Word of God.&quot; Howell adds, &quot;One of my favorite parts of teaching this class is when I give a room full of people the exact same journaling supplies, yet in the end every journal looks different. It’s a fun learning experience for all of us.&quot;A praise team will also lead the group in times of music throughout the event. Light refreshments will be served. Bring your own lunch.The class will be held in-person and online. Register and we will send you the link to attend virtually several days before the class. Please arrive between 9:30 and 9:50 a.m.*We will ship materials to those attending online if they register by March 25.
