Overview

Join CILO staff for an evening of creative expressions to cope with medical issues and disability.

Each evening will contain an ice breaker, different activity, and discussion afterwards.

April 6: Safe Place Visualization

  • Join Krys in taking the safe place in your mind and creating it on paper.

April 8: Photography Night

  • Join Randi in exploring how photography can be used as a powerful tool for self-expression. This activity will be done prior to the session. You will go on a walk and capture images that catch your eye and help you to reflect on emotions, then come together in as a group to discuss.

April 13: Mandala Drawing

  • Join Juliana in drawing mandalas to practice mindfulness and grounding.

April 15: Emotions Wheel

  • Join Amanda in creating an emotions color wheel using guided imagery.
