A cozy, no-frills crafting weekend at Makewell Makerspace.

Most creative projects don’t fail because of lack of ideas. They stall because life gets in the way.

Creative Escape at Makewell is designed to fix that. For three days we’re opening the space as a focused open studio where you can bring a project and finally make real progress. No lectures. No rigid schedule. Just dedicated time, tools, and a room full of people working on their own creative pursuits.

Bring a painting, a sculpture, a story, a design, a prototype, or something you’ve been putting off for months. Set up your workspace and get into the flow.

Spots are limited so everyone has room to work.

This weekend is your chance to escape distractions and just make. This is a relaxed, social crafting event — mixed skill levels welcome.
No classes. No pressure. No schedule. Just you, a big table, and uninterrupted creative time.

What’s Included:

• Your own table space + chair
• WiFi
• Bathroom access
• Trash & recycling
• Power (bring a power strip!)
• Two Cricut Explore Air 2 machines available onsite

Bring your supplies, bring a task light if you like good lighting, and bring whatever makes your creative heart happy.

No food is provided, but there are restaurants nearby — or feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks.Important Notes
