<h2>Creating R Packages</h2><p><br></p><h3>Lead Trainer:</h3><p>Michael Milton (WEHI)</p><p><br></p><h3>Workshop Description:</h3><p>This course is for statisticians, bioinformaticians, software engineers and other R users who have previously used R but who are now interested in learning how to develop new packages for publishing on CRAN or Bioconductor.</p><p><br></p><h3>Learning Objectives:</h3><p>By the end of this training, participants will be able to:</p><p>Learn how to write an R package for distributing code will increase your ability to share your computational research work, and can significantly enhance publications you are associated with. This is an in person hands-on workshop and attendees must bring their own computers (laptop chargers also recommended). No software needs to be installed for this workshop and no programming experience is necessary.
