Learn about mental illnesses, the impact of negative attitudes and five things each of us can do to make Minnesota a better place for people who experience a mental illness.

This one-hour class is for any community or organization interested in learning about mental illnesses and helping to change attitudes towards mental illnesses.

Deaf Cultural Arts & Wellness Center aims to provide access to creative arts and wellness resources for Deaf individuals and the Twin Cities Deaf community.

If you are unable to attend, a substitute individual is welcome to attend in your place, but NAMI Minnesota must be notified in writing (e-mail is acceptable) with the name and contact information for the person who will be attending. NAMI Minnesota reserves the right to cancel any event, conference or class due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If there is a cancellation, participants will be notified by telephone and/or email as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.

What We DoNAMI Minnesota (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with mental illnesses and their families. For over 40 years, NAMI Minnesota has worked to promote the development of community mental health programs and services, change public attitudes about mental illnesses, improve access to services and increase opportunities for recovery.  NAMI Minnesota champions justice, dignity, and respect for all people affected by mental illnesses.
