Creating a Travel Request – Course outline

Training: One-day immersive practical course offered by Shared Travel Services (STS) and AmexGBT.

Audience: Modular solution clients, beginners in using the Online Booking Tool (OBT) and STS/AmexGBT Portal.

Objectives:

• Describe the Government of Canada travel management solution and explain its benefits

• Identify the different steps of the travel process for modular solution organizations

• Differentiate between traveller, travel arranger, TAN holder and administrator roles

• Navigate the online Portal • Utilize best practices for profile management

• Research and book a flight, train, hotel and rental car online

• Identify Future Travel Credits and how they are applied

• Completing a reservation

• Locating an itinerary

• Modify or cancelling itineraries

• Managing booking failures
