Creating a  Shooting Dev Program from an Ecological Dynamics Perspective

A webinar covering an Ecological Dynamics/Constraints Led Approach to developing elite basketball shooters

This webinar will explore how key concepts from Ecological Dynamics (attractor, affordance, constraint, rate limiter, etc.) can be applied to create an elite shooting development program in basketball. Topics covered will include: (1) viewing shooting through the lens of attractors and invariants, (2) designing practice activities to stabilize attractors and invariants, (3) improving shooter adaptability to constraints (defensive positioning, fatigue, pressure), (4) creating better shots as a team by breaking offensive-defensive system synchrony, and (5) practice design to amplify synchrony-breaking affordances.*All participants will receive access to a folder of practice design resources and supporting research**Participants who register but cannot attend in person will receive a recording of the webinar and access to all materials
