CreateSC 2022: Virtual Designathon

Innovative Design at USC

Compete in a team with students around the nation in a weekend-long designathon--complete with workshops, mentorship hours and prizes!

CreateSC is the annual UI/UX designathon hosted by Innovative Design at USC, open to all college students at any level of experience. Students will team up in a group of 2-3 and compete to design the best solution to a prompt provided by Innovative Design at USC. The theme this year is Wellness in Design and will be reflected in our speakers and our prompt. CreateSC will be powered by Figma and hosted online on Twitch @createsc. Why Participate?<ul><li>Projects can be added to your personal portfolio</li><li>Gain experience creating a product prototype from start to finish using Figma</li><li>Learn about trending topics from experienced industry professionals </li><li>Get personalized feedback on your project through our mentors </li></ul>

<h3>Register Now</h3><ul><li>Create a team of 2-3 members. Each member has to register with a valid .edu (or equivalent) email to show that they are an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university within the United States. </li><li>Participants must be an undergraduate student of an accredited college or university within the United States with a valid campus-issued email address (.edu or equivalent). </li><li>Sign-ups open March 28, 2022 and close April 15, 2022</li><li>No experience necessary! There will be a workshop on the basics of Figma and any questions can also be directed to our mentors who will host office hours throughout the duration of the event.</li></ul>

<h3>Prizes</h3>1st Place: $100 (per teammate)2nd Place: $50 (per teammate)3rd Place: $25 (per teammate)Top Ten Finalists: Full CreateSC Swag Set (one per teammate)First 30 Submissions: CreateSC themed swag (one per teammate)General Raffle: We will also be giving out CreateSC swag to lucky raffle winners who engage with us through polls live.
