Create Your Own Place-Based Augmented Reality Stories and Tours

Do you want to create your own place-based/site specific immersive tour to encourage people to wander, linger, explore, and learn, in your neighborhood, building, space, or campus?

Join us to explore and. create with the Trace platform --- a locally-developed, easy-to-use app to create and share imaginative experiential AR (augmented) content.

In this hands-on workshop intended for all experience levels, we’ll review some AR fundamentals and build on-demand, location-based experiences. Afterwards, we can create a tour together at PSU, likely outdoors on the Park.

Who is it For: Anybody who wants to create a personal unique place-based experience, story, or tour. Perhaps you want to create a walking tour of art, music, culture, history in your neighborhood or city? Or engage in.a future visioning process to get community ideas and feedback as an urban planner or architect. Or share ideas, insights, information in your gallery, museums, labs, markets, farms, campus, or gardens? Or create a maical secret scavenger hunt.

Afterwards, we can create a tour together at PSU, likely outdoors on the Park.

Required Materials: BYO Phone or IPAD. We have a few Ipads to borrow.

Prerequisite: All experience levels welcome
