Create Your Own Action Figure

This is your chance to design your own action figure and 3D Print your custom action figure.

This one-day workshop offers attendees a dynamic, hands-on introduction to 3D printing by guiding participants through the process of creating their mini-action figures from start to finish. Led by tech founder, filmmaker and media arts educator Coquie Hughes, the workshop simplifies the experience of 3D modeling and printing by using pre-designed templates. Participants will focus on customizing, printing, and painting their unique figurines using Blender and professional-grade 3D printers, including Ultimaker and MakerBot models.

9:30AM – 10:30AM: Blender Basics & Model Customization (Face, Accessories, Details)

10:30AM – 11:00AM: Preparing Files for Print /Slicing & Export

11:00AM – 1:00PM: 3D Printing Hands-On /Live demo prints and access to pre-printed body templates

1:00PM – 2:30PM: Painting & Personalization of Printed Figures

2:30PM – 3:00PM: Showcase, Wrap-Up, and Feedback
