Create a meaningful self-expressive mosaic project made from real stained glass pieces to tell your story through art.

About the Class

Looking for a different kind of event - one that’s fun, creative, and leaves you feeling more connected to the world around you? Join us at the Create & Reconnect Workshop, which combines self-expression with beautiful stained glass mosaic art.

Based on the book Explore Your World by Richard Bohm, you’ll learn the essential elements of the EMOSY movement by creating a project that symbolizes an image of an idea, event or person; or past, present or future. You’ll choose a thoughtful prompt, consider what it means to you and then interpret it in stained glass. You’ll design and create a 6” x 6” mosaic project to hang on the wall using authentic stained glass pieces glued to an art board base.

Each person will make and take home their own mosaic project. There will also be opportunity to sample other forms of expressive art in the Creativity Lab. Try them all and see what your favorite is!

And, as in all of our classes, you will enjoy smashing items in our Rage Room. Write your worries, troubles or stresses on pieces of dishware and then release them as the china shatters.

The Fine Print:

• Closed toe shoes required. Long pants preferred for smashing activities.

• Participants sign a Personal Injury Waiver and an Intellectual Property Waiver to attend class. Please read Waiver before your event. There will be a copy for you to sign in person at the event. Adults must sign on behalf of minor participants. Photos and/or videos of you and your project may be used for promotional purposes on social media or other platforms. If you wish to be excluded, please notify us at check in.

• Rescheduling or cancelations are only accepted up to 48 hours before the event date. No refunds will be made for part or all of the class value after the cancelation deadline. Please email us at info@tulsastainedglass.com, and we will be happy to assist you in canceling or rescheduling. There is a $10 rescheduling fee per person. • All minors need to be accompanied by an adult and all attendees must have a paid ticket. Minimum age is 15.

• Doors open 15 minutes prior to class and classes begin promptly at time listed.
