VIRTUAL WORKSHOP:

Join artist Morgan Davidson as she guides us through her creative process for her enchanting hyper-realistic drawings. This course aims to spark creativity and enhance skills in mixed media illustration! We will explore drawing techniques, including layering, blending, and texture creation, using high-quality Prismacolor Premier colored pencils and chisel-tip markers. We’ll delve into the power of utilizing different media to achieve highly detailed effects in a fraction of the time. As we work in real-time, you will receive step-by-step guidance in creating a dynamic giraffe illustration. In addition to mastering layering techniques, we’ll discuss color theory, composition, and tips to enhance your drawing experience, from selecting reference images to scanning your final artwork. Join us for a fun, lighthearted class filled with insight and inspiration!

This virtual event will be recorded and posted to our YouTube Channel following the live event. Registered attendees will receive a follow-up thank you email that includes a link to the video.

Before the Workshop:

Please transfer the line art from the reference sheet provided in the sample kit (order separately, link provided upon registration) to your blank sheet of paper. We will not have time during the workshop for drawing out the line art. Use the corresponding colors from the reference image for the line art, this will help with blocking out the colors being used in the final drawing.

SAMPLE KIT:
