Create, Calm, + Compost
A natural dye + yoga workshop
Join yoga instructor, Alison Riazi + natural dyer, Erica Lubetsky for an afternoon of natural dye and yoga. You will receive a kit in the mail that includes tools to make your own naturally dyed set of kitchen towels and an instruction manual to collect and prepare your own natural dye. While the pieces are dyed, we will join in an hour yoga class. You will also receive a zoom link a few days before the workshop to join in. No better way to start your new year than to gather virtually with new friends to create, calm, + compost.
Your Kit Will Include:
-2 kitchen towels ready to dye, rubber bands, and gloves.
What You Will Need:
-metal pot and spoon you do not cook with and will not be used for cooking in the future. You can purchase inexpensive metal pots and spoons second hand from facebook marketplace or a thrift store. This pot and this spoon are both good options too!
-1-2 gallon ziplocks of onion skins: stock up on some onions but also feel free to grab the loose skins at the store! Red or Yellow skins(just the dried part!) both work well.
-burner for heating the dye
