This June holiday, Frasers Property Singapore is launching Art For Good, an annual initiative aimed at fostering greater inclusiveness through co-creating art. Running from 24 May to 28 July, Art For Good will feature a range of family-friendly activities at nine malls of Frasers Property Singapore islandwide.

Our signature "Paint It Forward" art jamming sessions return for the second year with artwork inspired by five talented artists on the autism spectrum from The Art Faculty, the social enterprise by Autism Resource Centre (Singapore). Simply donate $10 per participant to take part, and Frasers Property Singapore will donate another $10 for each completed canvas to raise funds for a worthy cause.

All proceeds will go to Community Chest in support of art programmes for persons with disabilities.

In addition, selected merchandise from The Art Faculty will be available for sale this year at our pop-up stores, where all proceeds will go to The Art Faculty and their artists.

Visitors to Art For Good will also get to explore A Stroll in the Painting, a roving life-sized installation handpainted by self-taught heritage mural artist Yip Yew Chong depicting the bustling marketplaces of the 1960s - 1970s. Presented by National Gallery Singapore, visitors can enjoy interactive storytelling sessions, as well as opportunities to meet with the artist throughout the month of July.

Through these partnerships and programmes with both established and emerging artists, Art For Good and its theme #EveryoneIsAble, brings people of all abilities together to co-create, explore and learn about inclusivity and diversity - transforming Frasers Property Singapore malls into vibrant neighbourhood hubs of artistic expression and cultural exchange.

Sign Up Today for “Paint It Forward” To Secure Your Art Jam Experience

Registration for “Paint It Forward” starts on 17 May at www.FrasersExperience.com/book/PIF24, and all are welcome to take part. The sessions are designed to be inclusive, accessible and wheelchair-friendly regardless of age, ability or background, so that everyone can enjoy a comfortable and meaningful experience whilst creating art at our malls. Designated calm spaces will also be available within the event space for those with sensory needs.

Participants will receive a painting kit along with a specially designed canvas outline of their choice inspired by The Art Faculty artists - Grace Ong, Joshua Chiang, Foo Thong Keen, Ezra Chan Yi and Nurul Amirah Binte Zain.

The styles of the artists are diversely unique and speak to their individual creativity and approach to art. Grace has a whimsical and free-spirited style where she enjoys drawing detailed line art of architecture, nature, portraits and anything that possesses intricate beauty. Joshua enjoys drawing still life which allows him to capture a memory, as well as fun motifs.

Thong Keen enjoys illustrating expressive and colourful dinosaurs and his animals often carry a bewildered expression. Ezra loves doodling all the time, and his subjects range from pigeons to seaweed to daily scenes. Amirah has a keen eye for patterns in nature, expressing herself with bold lines and vibrant colours.

Participants are encouraged to pre-register to ensure a spot due to overwhelming popularity. They can also opt to walk-in and register on the spot at any of the “Paint It Forward” art jam sessions at the following malls from 12pm – 8pm on the following dates, from 28 May 2024 onwards.

At the conclusion of “Paint It Forward”, all the co-created artwork will be linked together to form a Community Canvas Collage to be displayed at Causeway Point from 2 – 7 July.

Celebrating The Creativity Of Differently-Abled Persons

The Art Faculty translates the artwork of their differently-abled artists into quality, functional products for sale, so that they can earn royalties, learn the value of work and gain financial independence through a dignified source of income.

Jacelyn Lim, Executive Director at Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) said: “We are extremely heartened by the growing awareness and support over the years from the community and corporate partners like Frasers, who have partnered us in celebrating celebrating and shining a spotlight on the artistic talents of individuals on the autism spectrum. Through such opportunities, many of our artists have gained confidence and self-esteem as their work gained recognition and appreciation.

Selected merchandise such as umbrellas, notebooks, cups and more from The Art Faculty will be available for sale at Waterway Point, Northpoint City, Causeway Point and Century Square.
