Create a Tiny Underwater Ecosystem!

Overview

Shatterproof and care-free! Add gems, microscopic creatures, carnivorous plants, and the cutest little moss ball!

Hi! Nice to meet you. I'm Savannah, I'm 23 years old, and I'll be teaching this workshop in my super cozy plant shop. You'll get to meet our axolotls, puffer fish, and dart frogs while you're there. Now, drumroll please: let's introduce our newest workshop!

Miniature crafts are the best- and this one's way cooler than any kit you'd buy at the craft store. I mean, it's alive! And not just for a few weeks- it'll actually keep growing, even if you don't have a green thumb. It can last years, decades even!

🦐 All this stuff's included!

Get ready! Here's my recipe for the cutest ecosystem ever:

  • 1 Shatterproof lightbulb jar (with a flat bottom and unscrewing lid)
  • 1 Real baby marimo moss ball
  • 1 Carnivorous aquatic plant (utricularia gibba!)
  • 2 Tbsp of real crystals and colorful pebbles
  • 10 Live seed shrimp! They're the size of poppy seeds
  • 5 Beautiful beads
  • Colorful beading wire
  • A dried grapevine twig to release nutrients over time
  • A dropper to take home in case you need it!
  • 1 Hour of guided hands-on fun for all ages!

💖 This Workshop is:

  • ADHD and autism-friendly
  • Fun for any age and skill level

You don't need to consider yourself creative or a good gardener. I wanna create the same encouraging feeling I had when I played softball in highschool. I am NOT an athlete, but I felt so welcomed and encouraged. My coach and teammates cheered me on for hitting the ball. Did the ball go far? No, but I hit it! You don't have to worry about perfection. We'll cheer everyone on!

🌱 Plant care:

  • Add more water if a bunch of it evaporates
  • Give your moss ball a haircut if you think he needs it
  • Keep him vaguely near a window
  • Enjoy!

What are you waiting for? Come treat yourself to some fun, creativity, and discovery! Let's make happy memories.
