Join us for a special hands-on workshop during Watercress Fest with artist and instructor Shadow Hardbarger, who will guide participants through the process of creating a baby ribbon skirt — a beautiful and meaningful garment deeply rooted in Native traditions.

Materials and supplies will be provided for you. Bring a willingness to learn.

How long is the class?

Each class will take one hour and thirty minutes. 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Can I bring my own materials?

Yes! If you have your own fabric and ribbons, you are welcome to bring them.

Is parking available?

Yes! This workshop is taking place at Watercress Fest. Plan to arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for parking and navigating to the workroom.

Is the space ADA Accessible?

This workshop will take place in the upstairs room of the historic Saline Courthouse Museum. The museum is ADA accessible, but there are only stairs to the 2nd floor where the workshop will take place.

Is food available?

Yes! Food and beverages will be available for purchase at food trucks present for Watercress Fest.
