Crayfish Party

Scandinavia House was created by the American-Scandinavian Foundation to be the leading center for Nordic culture in the United States. It offers a wide range of programs that include exhibitions, film series, concerts and other performances, readings, lectures, language courses, and activities for kids.

Scandinavia House

Crayfish parties are traditional Scandinavian celebrations that are generally held during the months of August and September. Wearing special crayfish party hats and bibs, partygoers eat whole crayfish and sides such as bread and cheese, while singing drinking songs and drinking.  We will take part in this tradition by going for a crayfish dinner at Hot n Juicy Crawfish. Bring your singing voice and a festive mood! Price includes dinner and a schnapps.
