Local LA makerspace CRASH Space has been invited to exhibit at the Wende Zine Fest in Culver City this August, and we want YOUR zines for the booth! We've also opened our doors for a series of classes open to the public as part of our Summer of Zines series.
For our very first class in the Summer of Zines series, attendees will choose a topic and learn to research it with the end goal of creating their own zine. Participants will be provided with risographed notebooks to create a source notebook and begin laying out pages.
Although the class mostly covers zine research, art supplies will be available if you would like to continue to make your zine after the class, as well as opportunity to print the zine during the 7/27 Risograph ZinePrint class or during open hours at CRASH Space.
