Recommended for ages 13+. This is an independent crafting activity. Each participant must have the capabilities to work independently.
Join us on May 22, 2024, for an evening of creativity in an interactive art class alongside Cooper City BSO deputies. All necessary materials will be provided onsite and will be based on availability.
We will be working with epoxy resin and acrylic paints. For this Crafting with Cops, we will learn how to work with the material; how to prepare the mixture, mix colors, curing period and the steps onto pouring resin to create a beautiful ocean themed charcuterie board.
** Resin needs at least a couple of hours to cure, recommended 12-24 hrs, so the pieces will have to stay at at the district overnight to allow the material to harden. Participants will be able to pick up their projects the following day.
The workshop is limited to ONLY 35 PARTICIPANTS on a first-come basis. Registration is open to COOPER CITY RESIDENTS AND BUSINESS OWNERS ONLY.
