About this event

We are running a Craft Coven Yard Sale! This will be a vending event but is meant for selling things you would expect to see at a yard sale. You can consider this like a Supply Swap that involves dollars. Bring things you’re looking to get rid of for CHEAP. If you are someone who makes things and sells them, maybe you want to bring your seconds, mess ups, or sketches to sell for a discounted price? Or maybe you’re a hobbyist that switches crafts like I change my socks- bring any supplies you know you don’t need and get some cash for them! Most items must be priced under $15 with the exception of used equipment like sewing machines, looms, printers, large tools etc.

This is not a juried sale, but we will be collecting information before accepting payment to confirm you are the best fit for this event. If you purchase a spot to sell and show up with mostly brand new items (even if they are priced under $15) we will ask you to leave, and we will keep your vending fee as a donation to The Craft Coven. We want this market to be affordable for all. The goal is to keep useful craft and art supplies out of the landfill, and pass them on to people who can really use them. The Craft Coven will be selling donated items for low costs to raise money for future events and subsidized workshops.

This is a low cost and locally advertised event. To sell your own used, second sale, and/or low cost items we are charging $25 for a 6 foot by 6 foot space.  Each person will be designated a space about 6x6ft. If you want to bring tables that would equate to at most a 6 foot table across the back of your space and one 4 foot table deep. You are welcome to bring only a 6’x8’ tarp to lay on the ground and place your items on. We expect all vendors to stay for the entire event.

This event is free and open to the public. It will take place on the ground floor of Cherry Street Pier. The Pier will have available food and drinks for purchase during the event. Paid parking directly out front is limited so we suggest parking in the lot at Market Street and Columbus Blvd for a rate of $20/day.

For load in you will be able to pull up to the loading zone and unload. We have some dollies available and suggest bringing your own if you know you will be moving a lot. Because the pier is indoors we do not have a rain date and will be running the event rain or shine.

Have some valued items to donate but don’t want to stick around? You can schedule a time to drop your item off to the pier prior to June 30th. We will label and sell your items and keep 60% of the profits, or donate your items if they don’t sell. If you would like some of the profits back we ask that you are sure your items are in working and clean condition, set a price, and schedule a time to drop them off prior to June 30th. We will place your item on a shared table and give you 40% of the cost it sells for. We will keep the remaining balance to donate to the Coven.
