Cal Poly Pomona’s Departments of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, their faculty, students and alumni invite you to FIRM DAY 2019.  This event is specifically designed to connect you and your company with our students! 
Firm Day Itinerary

<LI>9:00 am Kick Off + Welcome Remarks</LI>
<LI>9:30 am Interviews Begin - Vendor Displays Open</LI>
<LI>12:00 noon Working Lunch (boxed lunches will be provided)</LI>
<LI>4:00 pm Event Concludes</LI>

The event is open to architecture, landscape architecture, multidisciplinary, government, non-profit or any other type of firm, agency or organization interested in students of architecture and landscape architecture.  
 
NEW for 2019 Firm Day, the event is open to any product manufacturer or vendor of products that are specified by architects and landscape architects.  
 
On the day of the event, participating  firms will have several hours to interview preselected students and those you may meet at the event.   Parallell to the interviews, we will have a Vendor Village organized for students and firm representatives to engage with manufacturer/sales reps.  This entire event is open to all graduate and undergraduate students of the ARC and LA departments.

<LI>Upon registration, firms will be provided access to browse student work samples and résumés online to pre-select and contact the students you wish to interview at the event.   All registered firms will also be placed onto a shared list so students can express interest in your firm to help narrow your scope when reviewing work samples.  </LI>
<LI>Upon registration, manufacturers/vendors will be provided access to a continuously updated list of participating companies and students.  </LI>

All revenue associated with this event direclty supports the event- this is not a fundraiser.  All particpants, including students and faculty, are provided lunch and refreshements thanks to the support of particpating firms.  Any profit from the event is direclty returned to the departments to support ongoing department activities.  Your support is appreciated!

Where is Cal Poly Pomona? 
Off the 10 Freeway at the 57. 
Where is the event located on campus?
Firm Day is located in the Interim Design Center (IDC), building 89.  The IDC is adjacent to the 10 Freeway off of Kellogg Drive.  You can use the CPP parking map: http://www.cpp.edu/maps/static/
Can I pay by check?
No. Please use the Eventbrite link.
How many students can I expect to interview?
Firms may interview as many students as they preselect or meet at the event.  Firms will be able to preselect through the online résumé and portfolio review potrtal.
May I bring exhibits?
Yes, so long as they can be accommdated on or behind the table(s) purchased.
Is there power and wifi in the IDC?
Yes, there are outlets to share and strong wifi coverage in the IDC.  Please bring your own power strips and short extension cord.
How will Manufacturers/Vendors be included?
We will be creating a Vendor Village outside the IDC and adjacent to the food tent.  Vendors will be provided access to the list of particpating firms and students.  Companies may also interview students for internship or other employment if desired.
