AESOPS GOES TO SCHOOL

WRITTEN BY AESOPS IMPROV CLASS 2024

Narrators get sick of hearing how self-absorbed and whiney the characters are, and how they never learn their lesson. The narrators realize they have no compassion, so they need to up the stakes. The worst punishment they can think of is to make them go to human school. There, the newly human, newly challenged fable characters interact with real humans. Some learn their lesson, and some . . . don’t. Ultimately the narrators take pity on the actual humans, and bring the characters back to the fables.

SODA STORIES

WRITTEN BY INTRODUCTION TO SCENE STUDY CLASS 2024

A younger brother must complete his homework of writing a story. His older sister is left in charge, and despairs of getting him to actually follow directions. He writes a story, but then can’t finish it, or loses interest. Fed up with her literary critiques and bossiness, he takes matters into his own hands and fuels up on soda, and as the sugar rush kicks in, the stories begin to fly.
