Interested in Cover Crop management strategies? Learn from the pros at the Cover Crop Field Day! A sequel to the Advanced Cover Cropping Field Day. The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in partnership with the University of Maryland Extension will host an all day event in Washington County, Maryland discussing cover crop strategies that are being used to advance soil health and agronomic outcomes. Cover crops are an integral piece in improving soil health outcomes by armoring the soil, maintaining a living root, and adding diversity to a cropping system. Learn how to use cover crops in their management practices to improve their soil and their bottom line!
This event is FREE. Ticket includes morning refreshments and lunch at 12:00 pm. This on-farm tour may have uneven walking terrain.
