This event is designed to convene the who’s who of nature restoration and conservation while upholding a vision of an equitable system that scales finance, dignified labor, appropriate tech, ecological knowledge and care, indigenous reconciliation, and accurate accounting.With dinner, deep-dive discussions, and engaging panels, we plan to co-create a memorable evening. Although the carbon market and restoration have faced various challenges, including financing gaps, human rights abuses, negative press, poor regulation of corporate claims, and a shortage of high-quality equitable restoration and conservation projects, we remain optimistic. We recognize that we are in a critical moment in time, and our actions will have a significant impact on future generations.If the carbon market can overcome these challenges and scale, it will play a vital role in restoring stability to our climate by supporting endangered and degraded terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, wildlife, and communities.
