COUPLES & BOURBON - BUFFALO TRACE
A guided bourbon tasting experience made for sharing, featuring four sought-after Buffalo Trace bourbons.
Bourbon is better when it’s shared.
Join us for Couples & Bourbon, a guided tasting experience designed for date nights, bourbon lovers, curious beginners, and anyone looking for a fun night out with great whiskey and good company.
In this class, we’ll explore the story of bourbon — how it’s made, how flavor develops, and why mash bills, aging, proof, and barrel selection all matter. This session features four standout bourbons from the Buffalo Trace family, including rare and highly sought-after pours that bourbon fans love to talk about.
Featured Bourbons
🥃 Blanton’s Original Single Barrel
Known as the world’s first single barrel bourbon, Blanton’s helped redefine premium bourbon when it was introduced as a bottle drawn from one individual barrel rather than a blend of many. It remains one of the most recognizable and collectible bourbons in the category.
🥃 E.H. Taylor Small Batch
Named for Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr., one of bourbon’s most influential figures, this bottled-in-bond small batch honors the legacy of the man who helped shape modern bourbon production. Taylor helped establish the O.F.C. Distillery, now known as Buffalo Trace, and championed methods such as copper fermenters, column stills, climate-controlled aging warehouses, and the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897.
🥃 Weller Special Reserve — Green Label
Weller is known as the “Original Wheated Bourbon,” using wheat in place of rye to create a softer, smoother profile. Special Reserve is bottled at 90 proof and is known for notes of caramel, honey, butterscotch, soft wood, and a smooth finish.
🥃 Weller Antique 107 — Red Label
A bolder expression of Weller’s wheated bourbon style, Antique 107 is bottled at 107 proof and delivers a fuller-bodied profile with sweet fruit, vanilla, spice, and cinnamon on the finish.
You’ll taste through these four bourbons side by side while learning how to compare flavor, proof, mash bill, barrel influence, and style.
Great bourbon. Good company. Lasting memories.
