No. This is a casual, drop-in build space. There’s no instruction, schedule, or curriculum.

Do I need cosplay experience to attend?

Not at all. All skill levels are welcome, from first-time builders to experienced cosplayers.

Question 3

What kinds of projects can I work on?

Accepted Answer

Anything cosplay-related. Sewing, foam or armor work, props, wigs, detailing, or finishing touches.

Question 4

Will there be help available?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you want it. Koda has 11+ years of costume design experience and will be around to answer questions or offer feedback.

Do I need to bring my own supplies?

Yes. Please bring your own materials and tools. Tables and workspace are provided.

Is this space LGBTQIA+ friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. This is an affirming, respectful space for queer and LGBTQIA+ cosplayers. Both facilitators, Donté and Koda, are apart of the LGBTQAI+ community.

Is this a religious event?

No. While the space is provided by LiFT Church, this is a non-religious cosplay event.

Do I have to stay the whole time?

Nope. Come for as long or as short as you’d like.

Yes.

Is this connected to Zenkaikon?

Accepted Answer

It’s not officially run by Zenkaikon, but it’s timed to help people prep for the con.

Is parking available?

Yes. Free street parking is available near the building. Please follow posted street signs and be mindful of nearby residents.
