Exploring Cosmos and Consciousness:
Shifting from matter’s “Big Bang” to the unfolding of a universe in Soul.
Join Us for this Special Hybrid Offering in collaboration with Christine Center
Saturday July 20, 2024 - 9:00am until 3:30pm
Taking the most expansive view we can, we will explore our individual deepening quest as part of a great cosmic unfolding and evolution of Soul. We continue to discover that all experience, all that is, is a great complex, ongoing, communal, energetic and alive “one thing”.
Prepare to be awed by some of the latest in cosmological meaning making, as well as emergent discoveries in consciousness studies. In this great saga, what is the role of Heart and Love? Of Human Intelligence? And ultimately, of Transcendence?
Our morning will feature S Gabriele Uhlein, OSF presenting via zoom from Christine Center.
Sr. Glenna Czachor, OSF will host our afternoon session that includes Contemplative Writing, followed by a Cosmic Walk meditation and a sharing circle.
Contemplative Writing is a mindfulness practice using the written word. Engaging in a practice of focused journaling using writing prompts, Contemplative Writing can lead to self-discovery and connection with your inner spirit.
Contemplative writing is a simple process and requires no special skills. It is a gentle process of self-reflection and soul-searching. Please come ready to pray and reflect, to write, and to interact with others. All materials will be provided…however, feel free to bring your own journal.
Suggested Donation $45.00, in-person at Tau Center
Bring your own lunch to enjoy on the St Clare Garden patio between sessions
online registration by July 10 is required, space is limited
If you are unable to join us in-person for the full day, registration for the morning presentation via zoom only is available at www.christinecenter.org
