About this event

  • 7 hours

Welcome to the Corrales Garden Tour! Join us for a delightful day exploring the beautiful gardens of Corrales. This in-person event will take place in the charming town of Corrales, where you can stroll through a variety of stunning gardens showcasing a range of plants and flowers. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just appreciate the beauty of nature, this tour is sure to inspire and delight. Don't miss this unique opportunity to experience the beauty of Corrales up close and personal!

This year, we are adding an educational spin on the event, centered towards sustainability. High desert gardening presents its own challenges, so we are working with Master Gardneners and other partners to explore solutions for water, composting and creating paradises for essential pollinators. Be sure to grab a brochure to plan your day and attend talks for sustainable gardening practices in New Mexico!

Frequently asked questions

What should I wear?

June in New Mexico can get hot! Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. There are plenty of businesses throughout the village where you can stop and grab food and refreshments. Locations for public restrooms will be shown on the brochure and are available at public gardens.

Where is the starting location for the tour.

This is a self-guided tour. The order in which you visit the gardens is completely up to you. Check out the list of events and choose the times and talks you wish to attend to plan your customized order of stops. Keep in mind, Ex Novo does not open until noon.

Where do I park?

There is plenty of parking available at the public gardens along Corrales Rd. Follow parkers and check with garden greeters in the neighborhoods. There will be a parking location with a golf cart shuttle service to two houses up on Sagebrush. you may park at Salce Park.

Should I carpool or attend with a group?

We do live in a village, and parking can be tight and limited. Our residents and the environment would definitely appreciate fewer vehicles if you are able to carpool and attend with a group! Please slow down when driving through neighborhoods and be mindful of horses and pedestrians!

Can I bring my kids to Ex Novo on the tour?

Yes! Ex Novo is family friendly, BUT, the raised bed garden is located in the 21+ section. Please plan to bring someone to accompany children out in the Corral while viewing this garden. Wendell the Goat will be outside in the family friendly areas.
