Immanuel Lutheran Church Lindenwood

Come join Immanuel Lutheran Church for a picturesque run by the corn fields to support Rochelle Rescue Mission. We are a small church family in Lindenwood, Il and have been serving our community since 1872. We are having an unofficially timed 5k Run/Walk with proceeds going to the Rochelle Rescue Mission. The Rochelle Rescue Mission is a Christian organization that supports homeless people/families with temporary residence for up to 30 days – their goal is to mentor as many people as possible and help them get back on their feet. So, let’s use our feet to support the Rochelle Rescue Mission.
There will be a pre-race warm up/stretching session lead by former Olympian and NIU Track and Field Director Connie Teaberry. Coach Teaberry has had an accomplished career including competing in the 1996 Summer Olympics and leading NIU to several championships.
 
Course will be on flat country roads consisting of asphalt and gravel.
