Cornerstone Research: Excel Training
*members only*
This FREE interactive, in-person training workshop is recommended for people with a basic/introductory understanding of Excel. It introduces participants to key functions and tools that will allow them to calculate summary statistics, apply conditions to their spreadsheets/datasets, parse text and look up specific observations from a dataset.
Participants are required to bring their laptops as the workshop involves live exercises. The workshop will cover the same topics as covered by previous Cornerstone Excel training workshops but will include an emphasis on creating dashboards to help track change ideas!
Cornerstone Research Outreach and Philanthropy (CROP) program
CROP is the organization within Cornerstone that tries to connect the community within the firm with the larger community in the surrounding environment. First, CROP organizes office-wide charitable events to raise awareness and funds in support of issues facing the community around Cornerstone. Second, through its Speaker Series, CROP brings leaders of social impact organizations to visit Cornerstone Research’s New York office for a brief talk and Q&A session on topics such as journalism, education, and health. Third, CROP provides training programs for employees of non-profit organizations and provides pro bono casework on issues related – for example – to children’s rights issues.
