CornerHouse Basic Forensic Interview Training

CornerHouse has been a pioneer in the field of forensic interviewing since the early 1990s. We developed the CornerHouse Forensic Interviewing Protocol,  one of the first semi-structured, research-informed forensic interview protocols designed to:•	Prioritize the needs and safety of the individual being interviewed, particularly children.•	Gather accurate and legally defensible information in a non-leading, trauma-informed manner.•	Ensure developmentally appropriate communication, allowing participants to share their experiences in their own words.•	Reduce the impact of trauma by limiting repeated interviews and promoting a child-centered approach.
