What if I have less than 6 people? Can I still RSVP?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Each class is going to have a maximum of 6 people so the session can still be personalized. Whether you are registered for yourself, 4 people, or all 6 slots, just make sure to only sign up those who will definitely attend. Your session may have other guests if you don't RSVP 6 people!

Question 2

Is this only for soon-to-be brides?

Accepted Answer

Not at all; if you are a previous Downtown Bride, any form of client, or never been to DTB, we welcome you. We know a lot of our clientele includes bride-to-be's who may want to bring their bridal party or family and friends. Pilates is an excellent contribution to wedding prep and good health!

Question 3

Will equipment be provided?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Elizabeth will bring her studio mats and Pilates balls that will be needed for the class. If you prefer to bring your own mat, you may do so. Reformers will not be used for this session since this introductory class takes place in our bridal shop.

Question 4

Do I need to have previous Pilates experience to attend?

Accepted Answer

Nope! Feel free to attend as a newcomer, expert, or someone who needs to freshen up their form. The session will be directed at an introductory level and focus on form, balance, and coordination.

Question 5

How much of the 50-minute session is going to be Pilates instruction?

Accepted Answer

We will take the first 5 minutes to show you a homemade commercial about Personal Pilates and Elizabeth's experience. The remaining 45 minutes will be the introductory Pilates session.
