Participants in this monthly class will learn African drum techniques and rhythms from veteran instructor and performer Rajeeyah B. Mujahid of RBM School of Arts. Students will be introduced to a variety of African instruments including the djembe, dunun, sticks, shaker, and cowbell. This class is open to all ages, children age four and older through adults. Families are encouraged to sign up together. Students are invited to bring their own djembe drum, or plan to use the drums provided. No drum experience necessary.
